Many cultures believe that receiving the Evil Eye will cause one misfortune, bad luck, or injury. The Evil Eye is known to be a curse in some countries, leaving others an unfortunate burden. It is known to be the glare of envy, spite, or malice; and wearing an Evil Eye charm will protect you from this. Because these glares of envy and spite are unknown to the victim, wearing the Evil Eye is a symbol of reflection back to the envious person, protecting yourself from this common curse.
